Warren and Kathryn said their “I Do’s” on a beautiful, warm spring day in Lancaster County. Their reception was held at the Farm at Eagle’s Ridge which is a unique and beautifully rustic venue. The bride and groom incorporated their love for horses and the outdoors everywhere in their wedding; décor included vintage furniture and accent pieces, pictures of the couple and their family members throughout the venue, and horseshoes which were used in their picture displays and centerpieces. A rustic meets chic wedding!

As guests arrived they were enticed by barbeque braised short ribs, macaroni and cheese tartlet, asparagus prosciutto wraps, roasted tomato asiago bruschetta, stuffed marinated artichoke hearts, and lump crab cakes. The hor d’oeuvres were a huge hit among guests; our servers could barely make it through the patio before their trays were empty! Cocktail hour was held outside in the beautiful Corn Crib and patio that were lighted by chandeliers and strings of lights which showed off the venue’s feminine side. During cocktail hour, guests sipped on the two signature drinks: mint mojito and whisky lemonade which were served in mason jars. Guests then made their way into the main barn for dinner where they were seated at long farmhouse tables provided by Barnes Handcrafted Farmhouse Tables. The tables were the perfect touch for this rustic wedding! The first course was a crispy wedge salad with smokehouse blue cheese, shaved red onion, crispy applewood smoked bacon, teardrop tomato, and buttermilk blue cheese dressing, absolutely delicious! Guests had their choice of entrée: a vegetarian lasagna; pan seared breast of chicken with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, grilled Portobello, with a tomato scampi sauce or a grilled petite bistro filet with onions and a balsamic rosemary jus, both accompanied by roasted fingerling potatoes and an asparagus bundle.
